This is the first post on my new blog. I’m an almost middle aged woman…okay, if you ask a 20 year old, I’m middle aged and if you ask a 50 year old, I’m not quite there yet. Its all about perspective I’m guessing. I can admit it and I can say that its that big number four-O staring me in the face from that mirror every morning that pushed me to starting a blog.

I remember when the word blog was in its infancy and a man told me that if I didn’t know it I wasn’t a real writer. Well, joke’s on him. I exist and I write, so in fact I am a writer. Yep, I get that sounds bitter, but do I care…nope. He’s a footnote to my story…do you want to hear more of my story, the imagined and the real?
